I’m an artist, small business mentor, and the creative force behind Slate and Oak Studio. Growing up just outside the Florida Everglades, I was surrounded by nature—and my family’s hunting traditions. Watching my family live with the land taught me to appreciate nature’s beauty and abundance, but it also made me think about sustainability.

 

I found myself asking: How can we honor the resources we take from the earth?

That question inspired my journey into Whitetail deer skull and bone art, turning overlooked materials into bold, meaningful creations. Each piece is handcrafted with care and intention, designed to tell a story and bring the beauty of nature into your home in a sustainable way.
